Deaths

ost of the deaths from severe thunderstorms occurred in the western part of the
state except for one in central North Carolina and one in an eastern county,
Tyrrell County.

No deaths from hail were reported. Once again the severe thunderstorm deaths
were spread out but mostly in the west.
