The State Climate Office of North Carolina charges a nominal fee for some of our services according to the following:

• There is a minimum charge of $25 for each qualifying request (many service requests may not require data analysis or distribution).
• Requests for information or analysis that require more than 1 hour will be charged at the rate of $25 per hour (e.g. 4 service hours would cost $100)
• Service charges will be invoiced when services are rendered.
• The SCO will continue to provide data services free of charge for educational purposes.
• Each information request is handled on a case-by-case basis.
